Pushed to the Edge

This is what happens when mom gets pushed to her breaking point (at least in my house tonight)...

All of that stuff up there on the floor is supposed to be in these shelves on my desk...

What in the world could make a woman go crazy like that? Well lets see aside from a million things on my mind like fundraisers being due yesterday, book fair starting next week, fall festival coming up in a few weeks, and CJ's birthday too...

My phone has been ringing off the hook since yesterday with silly questions and requests pertaining to the fundraiser...

My husband doesn't clean up after himself when he cooks and he cooked last night and then again this afternoon...

I had two extra children to watch today for an hour (they were actually great though and I can't say they caused me much stress)...

I had to make up a practice math test for Natalie to help her study for her math test (which annoys me to no end because while I know what's going to be on the test I don't know how her teacher will word things or has been teaching them)...

While making that test CJ decided he wanted to scream for no apparent reason. Okay, well there was a reason which I'm guessing is because my attention wasn't only focused on him, but still...

Dinner took a little longer to cook than I expected...

Kaitlyn cried when I told her to clean her room and that if her room wasn't clean by Thursday she would not be going to Grandma and Grandpa's this weekend. Apparently she does not know how to clean...

While she was sobbing CJ began to cry AGAIN...

Then Natalie finally finished the math test I created for her, but she got way too many wrong and when I tried to show her that she had made careless mistakes SHE began to cry...

While trying to help Natalie understand what she did wrong CJ was pulling stuff off of my desk and suddenly I heard a glass break so I went running. He pulled down the glass I had on my desk and thankfully didn't cut himself...

After rushing him off to his crib where he'd be safe to not touch the glass I had to yell at the girls three times to stay out of the living room so I could clean up the glass which was made that much more difficult by the other things he had pulled off the desk...

And finally the straw that broke this camels back was when I went to finish cleaning up the mess I couldn't find my scissors...

I know it was small, but it all piled up and I just went crazy and pulled and threw everything on the floor. Then I sat in the middle of the mess I had just made and I cried. I pulled myself together grabbed my camera like any good blogger would and took a picture of what I did. And then went and cleaned up the food that CJ threw on the floor and sent the girls to either finish homework or cleaning and put pj's on while I gave CJ a bath. Bathed him and got him ready for bed and sent them all off to bed and cleaned up my mess. And I STILL can't find my scissors!
