Dear Kaitlyn's teacher,
It has come to my attention that my previous letter came out as very harsh. I would like to apologize to all of my readers and especially to Kaitlyn's teacher. This is not how I meant it at all. I was venting and I understand that it has come out wrong. We will hopefully be able to resolve the concerns that I do have about the things Kaitlyn has told me has happened in the classroom. I want everyone to understand that it is my intention to work with the principal and Kaitlyn's teacher to get to the bottom of these issues that have come up. When I wrote the first letter it was therapeutic for me, but I realize now that it might have been hurtful to others and sending out the wrong message as well which was the last thing I was trying to do. My goal is and always has been to make sure that my children are happy and are enjoying themselves. So again, I am sorry to Kaitlyn's teacher if I have offended you in anyway. I hope we can work together to make sure Kaitlyn enjoys the rest of her time in 2nd grade!
Sincerely,
Kaitlyn's mom

I didn't see anything wrong with your first letter. So I don't feel you have anything to apologize for. I don't understand how it was hurtful to anyone! This is your blog, your interpretation on the world around you. I see nothing wrong with anything you said, Nothing was vulgar, mean or unkind. The Only thing people might have a problem with is you actually have the guts to write it. And this what I enjoy most about your Blog is your "tell it like it is" writing style... I hope this issue doesn't make you censor yourself.
