I hope everyone had a happy and safe 4th of July. Ours was very nice. Joe had to work midday, but was out in time for the best part of the 4th, the fireworks. So we went to the Great American Boom that was hosted by one of the local towns here. They had bouncy things for the kids, but we opted to not do those because of the massive crowd. So instead we picked our spot on the grass, had some hot dogs, ice cream, and fried dough and waited for the fireworks to begin.
Warning: There is a fireworks video in here so if you're skittish of the sound turn down your volume
It was a very enjoyable evening spent with the people most important in my life. God Bless America. And I just want to say thank you to all the service men and women and their families who serve our country to protect our freedom. Especially those service men and women who could not be home with their families for this joyous holiday weekend.
